My first ATC ~ Shine On ♥

       Good day friends!!

Today I am sharing here the first ATC I ever made ♥
Thanks to Halak Shaw for giving such an awesome opportunity ♥♥

So this is what I did. Took a 3x4 inch Iris SG white card stock & pasted a same size blue Pearlized card stock on it. Then cut a Linen card stock  a bit smaller than that & cut 3/4th of a circle towards the bottom to create a flap!!

Then I went on with the main focus of the ATC. Cut a circle out of SG white card stock, colored with Distress inks & gave a coat of Distress glaze.

Then I applied some Ranger embossing paste to create the snow line.

Used 3D glitters to add some pine trees.

Used Liquid platinum embossing powder to add some glitter to the sky & the snow line. Then put it all together to make the card& added a sentiment to the inside of the flap!!

Some more shots for you people ♥♥

Sanna says, "I really liked the idea of this card as well as the landscape design! Gorgeous colors and texture/detail on the landscape circle! Sadly we can only pick one favorite, there were so many more fabulous cards on this round that also would deserve a honorable mention!"       Thank you so much Sanna ♥♥

       2. My card was a winner at Peek-a-Boo Designs ♥
For her such a gorgeous card. We could not take eyes off that very pretty night scene created!! Very cute and a brilliant idea!

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who chose my card ♥♥

Keep Sparkling ♥ Snow flakes & Glitter ♥

       Hi friends, Good day!!
After a short gap, I'm back again with a new festive card I made for my crafty friend!!

Before we get into that, I got these awesome stamps from Varna's Creation & I had to use them somewhere. So here we go ♥♥

I stamped the snow flakes on the back of blue glitter paper & fussy cut them.

Used White & Liquid Platinum embossing powder to emboss those flakes on the front!!

Used various shades of blue Distress ink to color a linen white card stock & added few drops of water to make the ink react with it.

Used Liquid Platinum embossing powder to emboss some tiny flakes onto the card stock.
Pasted those 3 glitter flakes in a triangular pattern.

Used alphabets from Itsy Bitsy & sentiments from Varna's Creations to emboss on a vellum strip.
Added the vellum strip & a bow to finish the front of my card.

Used distress colors & white embossing to decorate the inside of the card..

Baby Girl ♥♥♥ Mixed media canvas ♥

Good day friends, today I'm gonna take you on a mixed media journey.
This is a mixed media canvas I did to celebrate with my friend, she delivered a baby girl ♥♥

Let's keep this short as I'm kinda busy now & I meant to post my project this month!!
I created lots of texture by pasting left over card stock cut into small pieces using matt medium.

Then applied pearl colors in shades of pink & purple and blended them with a baby wipe.

Used butterflies cut from a decoupage napkin & pasted them using gel medium. Used home made texture paste with Tim Holtz and Dylusions stencil to add some more texture to the canvas. Added color to the texture paste.

Then used Crafters Corner stencil to add some text, again with my texture paste.

Used Memento ink to stamp some flowers on a tissue paper, fussy cut them & pasted it using gel medium.

Then used Inka gold to add some shine, which isn't visible much in the photos. But trust me, it is there ♥

And finally added some hand written sentiments using Uniball signo white pen. Used Vintage photo DI to slightly darken the edges!!

Some more shots to finish my post ♥♥

Watercolor Explosion Card ~ ICR Watercolor Blog Hop ♥

       Good evening friends!!

It has been a long time since I updated my blog, got busy with my studies, health issues & some commissioned works. And then saw this ICR Watercolor Blog Hop & couldn't resist myself from creating a card ♥♥

First of all, wonderful inspirations from the DT. Beautiful & subtle backgrounds, shadings using watercolors, highlights & texture ~ awesome works. Do check out their blogs for inspiration ♥
Let's go back to my card!!

For this card I used a 4x4 inch front panel with an explosive interior!! Used Ranger black embossing powder to stamp the images. Then used Distress ink & Memento ink to watercolor the images, trying to create some shading. Finally added some white highlights with Uniball signo white pen & added an outline using the same.

The interior of the card is purple colored card stock, sponged with distress ink. Added sentiments from various stamp sets & used KaiserCraft triangles for the background ♥

With a matching envelope ♥

Few more shots to show the white highlights & clear embossing on the sentiment ♥♥
