Hello and welcome to our “First Birthday Blog Hop”!
Yes, Mudra is one year old this month and what an amazing journey it has been so far. And this month, we want to celebrate our big milestone with you because it wouldn’t have been possible without your support. We have so many fun things lined up throughout the month with lots of chances for you to participate and win some cool prizes.
If you have come from Tejal Mehta-Shah you are on the right track. You can check out the complete list of participating blogs on the Mudra Blog.
And Mudra is the first ever clear stamp manufacturers in India & I'm so glad to be a stamp illustrator in this awesome team.
Without further ado let's hop on to my cards. A bit lengthy & picture-crazy post, but please do bear with me guys!!
Card 1
- For my first card I decided to use a stamp from the first ever release of Mudra & the first ever stamp set I designed ~ Lotus Blooms!
- I decided to go with a kind of no-line water coloring for this card. Used a lotus bloom, a bud & leaf stamp from the set.
- Used Brustro's 300gsm cold pressed water color paper & distress inks for coloring.
- Created a border for my watercolor panel using blue pearlescent card stock & mounted in on an A2 sized card.
Card 2
- This is yet another card made using a stamp set I designed ~ Eggstasy. This set is so versatile with cute images & beautiful sentiments and it can be easily used to create a card in a jiffy.
- I used the egg, faces & the ribbon stamps with a bit of masking to create my first water color panel.
- For the second water color panel, I used the egg shells & the chick to create a kind of exploding egg.
- Then put together both of them as layers with a bit of washi tape decor to finish my card.
Card 3
- Used the Happy birthday stamp from Balloons stamp set to put together this shaker card. The sentiment is from Brushed Alphas stamp set.
- The details of how I made this card can be found in this video!!
Card 4
- For this card I decided to use the cute images from Stay Magical stamp set.
- Stamped the clouds, shooting star, the castle & the flying unicorn; and reverse stamped the same unicorn & fussy cut them all.
- Used two A2 sized cards to create a kind of double fold card.
- Fussy cut the front panels to resemble clouds. And sponged distress inks using the cut part to create more clouds.
- Finally put them all together & stamped the sentiments to finish my card.
Card 5
- Yet another card using the Stay Magical stamp set.
- Stamped the images on Brustro's 300gsm cold pressed water color paper & used distress inks for coloring.
- Created a border for my watercolor panel using blue pearlescent card stock & mounted in on an A2 sized card.
