Colorful Feathers ♥

       Good morning friends!!
Today I'm sharing two cards I made using the April release of Mudra stamp sets. I must say I'm so excited about the April months' release & had fun playing with these.
Our Mudra stamp collection is here at Amazon which makes it a lot easier for you to get your hands on them :)

Cards ~ Tropical Birds & Colorful Peacock Feather
I used two stamp sets from the Mudra collection ~ Cutie Tweety & Dare to Fly to make the Tropical Birds card!! And I'm happy to say that I designed the Cutie Tweety set. It's fun to play with my own designs ;)
I used a single stamp set, the "Peacock Feather Doodle" for the Colorful Peacock Feather card.

Do hop on to "Mudra Blog" for the full reveal & details.

Home sweet Home ♥

       Hello friends!
Hope you are having a nice day. Today I'm sharing a card I made for my friend's house warming party. With lots of ink sponging, paper piecing & a little bit of stamping.
       So here it is...

  • Took an A4 size card stock & folded in the middle; a huge card indeed!!
  • Sponged the distress ink in shades of blue, purple & black for the sky & shades of green for the meadow.

  • Paper piecing using patterned papers of the house & chimney & the roof and windows were mounted with foam tape.
  • Attached a brad for the door knob.
  • Mail box created with paper piecing again.

  • Moon made using card stock colored with yellow DI, fussy cut, embossed with bridal tinsel & finally coated with glossy accents.

  • Window panes have glossy accents too; to give the glass effect.

  • Stamped few plants & flowers along the lower margin in Archival green ink.
  • Stamped & clear embossed flourishes all around the background.
  • And finally added the stars to the sky & few detailing using Uniball signo white pen.

Happy Earth Day ♥

       Good evening friends!!
I'm sharing a journal page today; I made this as a part of the Circle journal group started by Riswana. It's a cool idea & I loved working on it.

It's a super easy layout & this is how it was created.

  • Sponged distress inks in rainbow colors from one side of the page & then created the sky with blue & the meadow with green DI.

  • Stamped the tree using a Fiskars stamp & then stamped the leaves randomly using black Archival ink.

  • Stamped few leaves randomly around the page using third degree stamping to get a faded effect.

  • Created a border by applying texture paste using Crafters Corner stencil & sponged some ink over the same to neutralize the white a bit.

  • Stamped the sentiment in black & it's done

Pretty in Pink ~ Happy Birthday ♥

       Good evening friends!!
Today I'm sharing a quick birthday card I made for a little girl.

Without further delay, let's see how I made it.

  • Took a top folding card base and cut out a onesie shaped card out of it.
  • Sponged pink distress ink all around with heavy inking to define the border.
  • Stamped using a flourishes stamp & clear embossed it for the background.
  • Used the same flourishes & stamped in pink DI in a card stock & fussy cut the top of the dress.
  • Used pink DI to color a cheese cloth & put it together on the card base to create the pink gown.
  • Adorned the dress with pearls in shades of pink & stamped the sentiment!!
