Before that I thank each & every member of our creative team for their wonderful love & support and for the truck loads of inspiration. It would have been tough without you guys!!
And last but not the least to Varshitha, who believed in me & gave me this wonderful opportunity to be a part of MUDRA. Thank you so much dear, love & hugs.
And thanks to all my fellow crafters for their love & inspiration.
I will still be stamp designing for Mudra, yay :) and will definitely join the Creative team again after my exams, if given the opportunity :)

Home sweet Home ♥

       Hello friends!
Hope you are having a nice day. Today I'm sharing a card I made for my friend's house warming party. With lots of ink sponging, paper piecing & a little bit of stamping.
       So here it is...

  • Took an A4 size card stock & folded in the middle; a huge card indeed!!
  • Sponged the distress ink in shades of blue, purple & black for the sky & shades of green for the meadow.

  • Paper piecing using patterned papers of the house & chimney & the roof and windows were mounted with foam tape.
  • Attached a brad for the door knob.
  • Mail box created with paper piecing again.

  • Moon made using card stock colored with yellow DI, fussy cut, embossed with bridal tinsel & finally coated with glossy accents.

  • Window panes have glossy accents too; to give the glass effect.

  • Stamped few plants & flowers along the lower margin in Archival green ink.
  • Stamped & clear embossed flourishes all around the background.
  • And finally added the stars to the sky & few detailing using Uniball signo white pen.

Pretty in Pink ~ Happy Birthday ♥

       Good evening friends!!
Today I'm sharing a quick birthday card I made for a little girl.

Without further delay, let's see how I made it.

  • Took a top folding card base and cut out a onesie shaped card out of it.
  • Sponged pink distress ink all around with heavy inking to define the border.
  • Stamped using a flourishes stamp & clear embossed it for the background.
  • Used the same flourishes & stamped in pink DI in a card stock & fussy cut the top of the dress.
  • Used pink DI to color a cheese cloth & put it together on the card base to create the pink gown.
  • Adorned the dress with pearls in shades of pink & stamped the sentiment!!

Love brings you Home ♥

       Good evening friends!!

Today I'm sharing a mixed media canvas. A different try with loads of flowers & my first canvas with chipboard. Had lots of fun creating this ♥ .
I took a 8"x10" canvas & primed it with a layer of gesso. Applied yellow & orange acrylic paints to create a distressed background.

Applied a coat of diluted gesso to tone down the colors & then added some home-made texture paste using HOTP & TCW stencils.

Then added the flowers & flourish chipboard from Dusty Attic-Doodads #7  and loads of semi-circle glitter beads.

Added the words Life, Love & Home using Tim Holtz stencils and home-made texture paste. Then went crazy with scented spray inks from Hampton Art (grapefruit, vanilla, cinnamon & lavender).
Took the "Journey" chipboard from Dusty Attic-Word Pack #3 & then embossed with metallic pink embossing powder in two layers. Then added highlights with red & pink pigment ink & embossed them too with clear embossing powder. Added it to my canvas & gave a coat of glossy accents for a glossy look!!

Added highlights to the flowers & flourish using acrylic colors & Inka gold in Gold. Hand painted the sentiment.
Added some background flourishes in Archival Monarch orange & sponged the border using the same.

Well, I am happy with how it turned out. Gifted it to my cousin's House warming party with best wishes for the happy & exciting journey in their new home

Laugh Often ♥ Love Deeply

       Good day friends!!
It's a card today, something that was designed after the Mini Album I made few days back.
I loved that design & color combo so much that I had to use it again.

So here's how I made it with few photos for your eyes.

I punched out lots of little hearts from a card stock, stacked 2 hearts one over the other to create some dimension.

I cut out the card base from black card stock, drew a heart in the middle & fussy cut that so that the heart opens down the center. Then took those punched & stacked hearts and pasted them on my black card stock.

Then it went on like this, gave a coat of gesso, added 3 flowers at the bottom & lots n lots of glitter micro beads using matt medium. Added texture paste through a circles stencil. Painted with acrylic colors in shades of blue, used Inka gold in gold to add highlights.Added few highlights using background stamps in Archival blue ink.
Punched 2 holes in the flap of the hearts & added eyelets to it.
Cut a chip board in the shape of an arrow, decorated it using paper piecing technique. Used that with blue ribbon to close the hearts.

Colored a card using gold acrylic colors & mounted my finished card on it and it's done
