Wish Big ♥ Explosion card!!

     Good day friends!!
Today I'm sharing a card I made for my friend's birthday. I was inspired by "Stampin' Up! Owl Punch Explosion Card!" by Darlene DeVries.

I used colored card stock, blue for the outer panel & yellow for the exploding panel!! As usual I forgot to take snaps along the way, so I'm attaching Darlene DeVries's YouTube video at the end of this post.

Used Wow platinum glitter & Ranger gold embossing powder.
Platinum Sparkle & Golden Shine ♥♥

Used sentiments from various stamp sets & DI to decorate the card.

Stamped & coloured the back panel using DI.

Happy Birthday!! ~ hand drawn on the envelope ♥

It was a simple card to make but I loved how it came out!! ♥♥♥

Double Slider Birthday Card!!

       Hi friends, Happy day!!
Today I am gonna share a card, a Double Slider Card to be exact that I made for my mom's 50th Birthday. As it was the 50th year, I made it all gold & glittery.

I had to arrange everything for the party myself & I only had 30 min to make the card. And I forgot to take any photos while making the card.
So linking the video by Darlene DeVries whose cute birthday card was the inspiration behind my card.

I took three 5x3.5 inch white card stock, coloured the front panel using Mustard Seed DI & used a leaf stamp set from ItsyBitsy to create a border. Used Ranger gold embossing powder to add Sparkle & Shine to it. The sentiment is from BoBunny Sentiment stamp set.

Then I coloured the two slider tabs using the same DI & added the sentiments from Hampton Art stamp set. Put them all together using double sided foam adhesive & voila ~ my card is ready ♥♥

Here is the video of my card in action ♥♥♥

♥ Ink Smooching ♥

      Happy day friends!!
I am back again today with a card I made for my cousin's birthday. I was so engrossed in making the card that I forgot to take step by step photos!!

Well, here is what I did,
♥I took a Iris Sg white card stock & cut it to desired dimensions.
♥Used Memento Lilac Posies with a sponge to color the background.
♥Then went ahead & used the Ink smooching technique using Memento Lilac Posies & Tangelo ink to get a patterned background.
♥Darkened the edges of the card using Lilac Posies ink again.
♥Then used a banner stamp from We R Memory Keepers set to ink up the banner & added sentiments using Hot of The Press stamps

      I totally love it ♥♥

Wedding Bells ♥♥

Hi friends, today I am here with a handmade Wedding gift for my friend. It's an Indian style wedding picture & it was so much fun creating it & coloring the background.

I used a A4 size watercolor sheet from ItsyBitsy & made grid lines to pencil the image with ease.

And once done I was thinking whether to do a No-line coloring or to portray it with lines?!

I finally decided to go with lines as it defines the image well.

And I erased the grid lines, and I guess I am happy with how it turned out.

I used Camlin water colors for coloring the image, used bright colors as I wanted them to be a bright & happy couple!!

Once done I used green water color to saturate the background taking care to stay clear of the areas I had already painted. Then I used liberal amounts of table salt & kosher salt and sprinkled them all over the background. Then I let it dry overnight.
Scraped of the excess salt, reinforced the black lines with my Pilot black pen & my friend's wedding gift is ready ♥♥♥

♥ Some more flowers ♥♥♥

Hi everyone, it's me back again with yet another flower, this one made with M-Seal used to decorate a Clay pot!!

I am going to keep it simple as it was just a 15 minutes project. I used M-Seal to design the flower & the leaves, stuck them to the clay pot & let it dry.
Once dried I painted them using diluted acrylic paint & it's done. Your personalized pottery is ready to adorn your desk ♥♥
