A Rainbow of colors!!

       Hi friends, today I'm sharing with you guys a card I made for my friend's birthday. 
       I didn't have much time to create an elaborate card which resulted in it being a CAS card!! But I must say, it turned out pretty with a rainbow of colors.


       First I started with a white card stock & coloured it with Distress inks diluted with water. I used the colors of the rainbow & let the colors blend a bit!! Then I sprinkled some water, let it react with the DI & used a tissue paper to absorb the excess.


       Then I cut a square panel from the same white card stock & applied Distress ink directly to it, again in colors of a rainbow.


       I cut a square piece of vellum a bit smaller than the square panel & embossed the sentiment using Ranger black embossing powder & pasted the vellum on the back of the square panel.
       And finally I stuck that to the front of the card.


       I created a pop-up cake on the inside & pasted some fussy cut candles to it & stamped the sentiment using DI.


       I am definitely using this rainbow design again, I love it ♥♥♥
