       Good day!!

       Today I went out of my style to do a CAS card. I am starting to love this style. They can be finished so quickly & it's challenging to use minimal space in a card.

       Nothing much to explain here, I wanted to do a HOME themed card & I didn't have any such stamps!! So drew a cute little mushroom home myself. 

       Colored using both distress inks & watercolor pencils. Outlines done using a black fine liner pen. Sponged blue & green distress ink on my card base, drew some strokes for grasses using watercolor pencil. Fussy cut my mushroom & mounted it using black foam tape. 
       Stamped home using alphabet stamps & wrote the rest of the sentiment myself. Drew a squiggly border to finish my card.

Golden Hearts ♥

       Good day friends!!

       I'm back again, too soon I guess; this time with a quick & easy card I made. I made this card literally from scraps, the bits & pieces left over from my previous projects. 

       Used a red card stock lying around & few hearts I punched out for an ATC I did before!! It's a single layered card with gold embossing on red.

       Fussy cut a heart out of the front panel, applied gold embossing around the edges in a grungy style. Gold embossed those tiny hearts & adhered them randomly!!

       Applied gold embossing around the edges of the cut out heart in the same grungy style, embossed the sentiment with golden tinsel embossing powder & pasted it to the inside of the heart using the negative space on the front as a guide. 

       Drew a squiggly border with a versa-mark pen & gold embossed that too.

       And that makes my card for today, a super quick & easy card ♥.

       Good evening friends!!

       Here I am, sharing a simple card today. Though it is a simple design, I drew a freestyle mandala drawing & I really enjoyed it ♥. 

     I decided to incorporate both the IndianCraftRoom & MHKDesigns theme into my card!!

ICR ~ Tic Tac Toe with a twist of Mandala!!

     Initially I wanted to go with the first row - Sparkle/ Bling, Ribbon & Stencil.
     But ended up using several of those!!

• Sparkle/ Bling, Ribbon, Stencil.
• Sparkle/ Bling, Love sentiment, Stitching.
• Ribbon, Love sentiment, Heat embossing.
• Stencil, Button/Flower, Stitching. 

     I just went crazy with the theme!!

MHKDesigns:

       Coming to my card, I drew a mandala on white card stock, used 3D glitter liners to outline the design & fussy cut my mandala ♥. 

       Then I sponged several colors of Distress ink on to the front of my card using a stencil (MHKDesign Color palette). Cut a banner out of white card stock, drew a stitched border using the same 3D liners. Then heat embossed my Love sentiment.
       Added a ribbon bow & button.

       Assembled the banner & mandala on the front to finish my card ♥♥

Mini Album ~ Memories ♥

       Good evening ♥
       It has been hectic for past few days but somehow I managed to put together a Mini Album for my friend's birthday!! Yep, you heard it right, my first ever Mini Album & I'm so much in love with it. I am definitely gonna make more in the future ♥

       I had always wanted to make one & recently my friend Riswana made one herself & I loved it a lot. So I tried my hand at it too & I enjoyed making this one.

       I'm not gonna go into details on how I made this because there are so many tutorials available online; many of which helped me to create this Album.

       It is an album with 12 pockets inside holding 12 tags, one for each month of the year. I wanted it like that, so that it can be filled with the best memory of each month.

       So let me just explain how I made the outer decor. Initially, I gave a layer of gesso coating to make the surface a bit rough. 

       Used Ranger texture paste with Mini cubist stencil to create some texture & Tim Holtz stencil to write the words RISWANA & MEMORIES. 

       Pasted 6 plastic flowers & added some tiny glitter beads to give more texture. Colored the cover with shades various of blue acrylic paint (Color is much more darker & richer in reality with the various shades visible~ couldn't capture any of that in photos). Added Inka Gold in gold to give some highlights.

       These are the White embossed sentiments on the 12 pockets inside & the tags for each month ♥

       I really enjoyed making this & much more than that, her happiness on receiving this Album ♥♥♥

       Good morning friends!!

       Today I'm sharing a canvas painting after a long long time. Not just one but two canvases ♥♥
I didn't take much photos since it is a simple painting. So let me just explain in short about what I did.
       Took two stretched canvas boards, gave a layer of gesso coating. Then used acrylic colors in red, orange & yellow for the background. 

       Images hand-drawn on the canvas & painted in black. Cut a heart shape out of a scrap paper & using it as a mask added a large heart around the couple using Kaiserkraft triangles stamp set in black Archival ink. 
       Added the tiny hearts, the words Live~Laugh~Love & the flourishes using stamps from ItsyBitsy.

       Handmade frame with black card stock completes the couple ♥♥
